A Game of Thrones (1996)

Author: George R.R. Martin

The story evolves around Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell, titles titles… It has a lot of plots and twists. I have to warn you, Cersei Lannister is the devil incarnated. This isn’t a book for the faint of heart. The book is full of backstabbing and betrayals. Kings Landing is full of liars. There are the lousy liars, the good liars and the great liars. Each member on the Council has a net of spies. Every where you look there is a spy watching you. Martin wrote the book in a way that it makes you get swept away in to the story of each individual. You can feel Sansas pain. The hate that Joffrey feels, the love of Drogo and Daenerys… you feel it. You get swept away in this world. You feel close to each character.

“When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.” – Cersei Lannister
